My Body Is A Temple ...

Folks,

When you are in Salt Lake City, you have to visit the temple - and today I did - Murphy's.  Oh yeah - I also went to the Mormon Temple as well.  I took a 30 minute tour led by two enthusiastic young ladies from Honduras who are missionary sisters in the faith.

They gave an overview of the temple square, at times whispering, at times singing and at times overcome with the beauty and majesty of their faith.

I was asked to fill out a card at the end but as Groucho Marx once mused, "I would not join any club that would have someone like me for a member."  They did a very good.

I then went to the local Chinese temple, Wal-Mart, for some odds and ends and lo and behold (notice the use of this phrase), I picked up a Marie Osmond clue.  Check out the cover of TV Guide this week.  Now am I losing it or does Michelle Obama look like .... so the Nutrisystem folks are hiding her out at the White House.  Not to worry, I also found out that she and Donny are appearing at Las Vegas 5 nights a week.

I leave for California tomorrow - then through Death Valley and in the back door to  - you guessed it, Vegas.  

To quote Hunter S. Thompson, who knew a thing or too about Vegas, "When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro" ......
